Skills and recruitment continues to be a major challenge for businesses.
To address this challenge the Worcestershire Careers Hub programme has working to bridge the gap between schools and colleges, and businesses, to ensure that future talent is able to meet business ambitions.
As part of this work, the Careers Hub team, Inspiring Worcestershire, are hosting a virtual Coffee and Chat morning on 20 of September to share more about volunteering with the programme and becoming an enterprise advisor.
An Enterprise Advisor is a business professional, of any level or business background, who works closely with a set school to help with their careers education, in particular supporting with work experience, mock interviews, CV support and much more.
The Enterprise Advisor plays a key role in helping to inspire young people around the career options available, and for a business this helps them to promote their business, sector and job roles to build interest in the business and as a result their future workforce.
The commitment from the individual can be as little or big as they can manage to make the programme accessible around diaries and other commitments.
Hear from existing volunteers about what it’s like for them and their reasons for why others should volunteer for the programme.
