Business Support Update – September 2026

Video Transcript

Hello and welcome to the September edition of the Worcestershire Business Support Newsletter. While the rain may have made a return, there’s certainly no shortage of business support opportunities available across the county this autumn.

First, I’m delighted to share that our Professional Business Advisor program is back for another year. This popular scheme gives Worcestershire businesses free access to expert advice and guidance from experienced specialists. Whether you’re looking to overcome a challenge, seize a new opportunity or accelerate growth, our advisors are here to help. Support is available across a wide range of areas including marketing, HR, sustainability, cyber security, technology adoption and general business development. Importantly, this support is fully funded for eligible businesses. However, funding is limited, so I would encourage you to contact the Growth Hub team or follow the link in the newsletter to find out more and secure your place.

Looking ahead to October. We’re also pleased to be supporting the NHS WorkWell team with their upcoming event, Better Conversations, Better Outcomes that takes place on the 7th of October, and this event will explore how businesses can create the right culture, practical processes and supportive management approaches that encourage employees to speak openly and access support when they need it. For organisations that are looking to strengthen staff wellbeing, improve retention and boost productivity. This promises to be a valuable and insightful session. You’ll find full details in the newsletter.

And finally, our team will be exhibiting at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Expo on the 1st of October at the University Arena in Worcester. The Expo is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the support available for businesses. Meet the Growth Hub team and connect with organisations from across both counties. So take a look at the article in this month’s newsletter for more information.

As always, there are plenty of events, workshops and webinars taking place over the coming weeks. I’d encourage you to visit the Growth Hub Events portal to stay up to date and discover opportunities that could help you and your business achieve more. The good news is that support is available and we’re here to help you make the most of it.

Stay connected with the Growth Hub to access expert support, valuable connections and exciting opportunities that can help your business start, grow and thrive.

Thanks for watching. Take care and I’ll see you next time.
