Hello and welcome to the June newsletter for Worcestershire Growth Hub. I’m delighted that you join me today in the cathedral building at Heart of Worcestershire College. Worcestershire LEP recently funded this building, and it houses the engineering and adult education/higher education courses. The space here is fantastic and it’s been really carefully designed so it can encourage businesses to come in and work with the college.
You join us today in the talk pod, this is a great meeting space, but the college also has a lecture theatre, its really adaptable and certainly if you are interested in hiring out any of this space, do get in touch with the Growth Hub team and we can make sure to put you in the right direction for the most relevant person to speak too.
Event season is in full swing, it’s been fantastic to get out and see businesses again after such a long time apart. If you wanted to come and meet the Growth Hub team, then the best place to meet us would be at the Business Worcestershire Conference on the 28 of June. More information on the conference is on the screen now.
Finally, I am delighted to tell you we have received extra funding to continue with our successful Specialist Business Advisor Programme. This is where businesses can access specialist advice from an professional external provider who will be able to help and advice your business on things like marketing, accessing finance, and sustainability. It’s a really successful programme that we ran last year, we already have quite a large waiting list for this, so if you want to join on that and guarantee access to this incredible support then please do get in touch with the team now.
So, we’re already in June but we have a packed calendar taking us through to the end of the year, so please do make sure you stay in touch with us. You can contact the team through the social media channels, drop us an email or pick up the phone and give us a call. We would be delighted to talk to you and make sure you stay subscribed to the newsletter to find out things as they come on board.
