Over 50 local businesses gathered at Sixways Stadium, home of the Worcester Warriors, to discuss the next steps to improve business support in the county.
Hosted by the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Worcestershire Growth Hub, with support from partners like the Chamber of Commerce and County Council, the dinner event provided a question time panel discussion with businesses able to voice their thoughts and ideas for what needs to be done to support business growth.
Attendees got to experience a three-course meal as well as hear from local expert speakers from both public and private sector backgrounds, to allow a full discussion into the opportunities and challenges that businesses face.
The discussion during the evening also dived into data available through the Worcestershire Business Survey. This survey is being run by the Worcestershire Growth Hub to allow businesses of all sizes from across the county to share their views on a variety of questions to help inform the LEP and Growth Hub.
The survey is still open and any Worcestershire businesses are encouraged to take part in the survey by following the link here. – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/9KFMQLN
Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “ It was fantastic to host our business forum dinner and provide an engaging platform for businesses to discuss how we can continue to support local growth.
This dinner is part of our ambition to ensure that businesses challenges are heard to help us and local partner organisations to build programmes that can further support Worcestershire businesses to grow.”
The Worcestershire LEP and Growth Hub plan to deliver more engagement events throughout the year and local businesses interested in attending future events are encouraged to engage with the Worcestershire Growth Hub team using the details below.
