Support Received
Whiting Landscape has been working closely with the Worcestershire Growth Hub for the past 18 months. Over this time, the Growth Hub has kept them informed about the support out there, and Whiting Landscape has been able to access a vareity of support to help achieve their growth ambitions, including the SkillsBoost Training Grant, Employee Wellbeing Grant and the Professional Business Advisors programme.
Business Impact
With the support accessed via the Growth Hub, Whiting Landscape have been able to grow their business.
They were able to access the SkillsBoost Grant to upskill their staff, which in turn has also helped them to re-focus their training and development strategy, fast-track developing key employees from within. Whiting Landscapes were also introduced to the Careers Worcestershire team and attended the Worcestershire Skills Expo to promote their business to the next generation.
Via the Professional Business Advisors Programme they were able to get specialist advice and guidance on their marketing strategy and also their sustainability as a company
