On Friday 11 June between 10 – 11am, Worcestershire County Council is hosting an online event aimed at local installers who supply lighting, heating, solar panels and other energy efficiency and renewable technologies to other businesses, to help you understand the grants and support available.
Several Clean Growth grants are on offer from Worcestershire County Council to encourage local businesses to become greener and cut energy costs. These include the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP), which provides energy efficiency and resource assessments and grants for small and medium sized enterprises in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
The Low Carbon Opportunities Programme (LOCOP) offers renewable energy assessments and grants for small and medium sized enterprises in Worcestershire and support for businesses developing innovative low carbon products.
Also available is the Public Energy Efficiency Programme (PEEP) which provides energy assessments and grant funding to support organisations to improve the energy efficiency of their public buildings and invest in renewable energy technologies.
This event will introduce businesses to the County Council’s grant funding and support programmes that can help businesses in Worcestershire and beyond access financial support to make projects more affordable and more likely to go ahead. Attendees will also be talked through the applications process and procurement requirements.
All programmes are part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
