Worcestershire County Council’s ERDF-funded Programmes Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) and Low Carbon Opportunities Programme (LOCOP) are joining forces, coming under the same banner, known as Clean Growth.
Both BEEP and LOCOP offer 12 hours of free support to advise businesses on energy efficiency or appraise renewable energy opportunities.
Both Programmes are working harder than ever to help businesses reduce their energy bills and carbon emissions. Working side by side, the Programmes help businesses understand what best suits the organisations’ needs and, in some cases, both BEEP and LOCOP can be of assistance.
BEEP offers grants from £1,000 to £20,000 for LED Lighting, heating, compressors, electric forklifts and fast shutting roller doors etc.
LOCOP has grants of up to £100,000 for solar panels, energy storage, biomass boilers, air and ground source heat pumps etc.
LOCOP also has a second strand of funding, offering grants for innovation in low carbon technologies. Businesses can receive free and bespoke 12 hours of support, which can help develop and commercialise low carbon goods and services.
Grants of up to £50,000 can fund equipment, materials, accreditations, prototypes, testing and marketing costs, and more.

The Clean Growth web page is being developed to show a wealth of other green opportunities available to SMEs such as funding for electric vehicle charge points and how to access low carbon research support from universities.
BEEP and LOCOP are receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 Business.
