Midlands based recruitment firm, Consilium Recruit is pleased to announce its partnership with Dearson Winyard International, a leader in UK immigration services to business. The two companies have joined forces to help manufacturing and engineering companies secure highly skilled workers to combat the ever-deepening skills shortage.
On Thursday 17 November, the two teams will be holding a complimentary workshop at Consilium’s Stratford headquarters to help companies, of all sizes, understand the benefits of sponsoring overseas non-EU nationals and demystify the immigration process.
Russell Tuck, Director says “The skills gap is one of the most talked about subjects in UK manufacturing today and deemed to be the biggest threat to the sectors continued growth and success.”
“Put simply, there’s not enough people with the experience and skills required to do some of the more complex roles, particularly within the aerospace and automotive industry sectors”
As a further support, Consilium Recruit also runs an extremely successful graduate scheme which it will also be showcasing on the day. Having partnered with some of the Midlands leading Universities, they match Engineering graduates with companies across aerospace, automotive and advanced manufacturing industries. As well as help newly qualified University leavers get the right experience, the scheme is providing businesses with the engineering talent of the future.
“As a specialist technical recruiter, we’re committed to helping companies find the right people to grow their business. If this means that we need to look further afield for talent, encourage more youngsters to get trained up, or help Engineering graduates step into the world or work, then that’s what we’ll do.”
The two-hour skills shortage workshop will be open to Hiring Managers and Directors and will be held at Consilium’s Stratford-upon-Avon office between 14:00-16:00 on November 17.
To register to attend, you can sign up on the Consilium website or contact Jess Skinner on 01789 201 040.
