The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) agri-food team are doing a lot of work to support SME food businesses and are looking for intelligence from local businesses.
Helen Cameron, Worcestershire Regulatory Services, has been a member of a national Working Group since its inception during the COVID pandemic.
The working group have regular feedback meetings and are now interested in hearing from local businesses. The group want to hear views on:
- The latest energy support schemes
- Current status of any labour challenges
- Any disruption to imports and exports
- Monitoring the key challenges businesses are facing in the area and the type of support they are looking for to allow their business to remain resilient and grow
