Hello and welcome. For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Luke Willetts and I’m the deputy CEO of the Worcestershire LEP and Worcestershire Growth Hub, and moving forwards, I’ll be taking you through our Monthly Growth Hub newsletter, keeping you informed of the latest business support available. The Worcestershire Growth Hub will continue to be the team here to help your business.

No matter your size or sector. With the support of our partners, including the District, City and Borough Council’s, the County Council, Chamber of Commerce, FSB and more, you can be confident that the Growth Hub is the place you can go to for your business support, advice and funding in the county.

Now, we know that sustainability and net zero is a key issue nationally, and many businesses are looking at what they can do to be more sustainable. To support this, we are working alongside Worcestershire County Council to deliver the next event in the Business Worcestershire Conference series in June, which is going to be themed all around sustainability. Spaces are free and this is a perfect opportunity for businesses to come along, engage with experts and understand what support is available to help you. I am also pleased to announce that BetaDen, the county’s technology accelerator, is now recruiting for their seventh cohort of businesses. Whether you are an entrepreneur with an idea or an established business looking to innovate, BetaDen could be the program for you. Over 40 businesses have been supported through BetaDen and to date and with their recent award win as the best technology accelerator in the UK, there’s never been a better time to be a part of be BetaDen.
