Businesses across Worcestershire are invited to attend a free hustings event on Thursday 25th May.

Following the recent announcement of a snap election, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is offering local business leaders the opportunity to quiz political parties ahead of the vote. The hustings will see parliamentary candidates and party representatives set out their priorities and debate current business and economic issues. Subjects expected to be covered include labour market, skills, red tape, upfront costs and Brexit, among other topics.

At the event, the panellists will get just two minutes to introduce themselves and put their case for election to the business community. Followed by an open questions session, after which each candidate will be given a further two minutes to make concluding comments.

Guests will also get the opportunity to network over refreshments ahead of the debate and enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast.

The event is being held on Thursday 25th May, 8.00am – 9.30am at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, New Road, Worcester WR2 4QQ.
