The Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) would like to invite local businesses to join them for a series of masterclasses on raising finance.
The MEIF team are running two events, with the first taking place on the 12th May 2021 and the follow-on class takes place on the 1st July 2021.
Hosted by the senior managers from the British Business Bank with fireside chats with leading finance providers and equity investors across the Midlands, who will be sharing their expertise, practices and lessons learnt. These events are open to businesses looking to raise finance as well as supporting smaller businesses, with the chance to ask the expert panel questions during the webinars.
The first masterclass will explore debt financing, addressing funding for start-ups and early stage businesses and growth finance for more established businesses. The class will also consider alternative finance options and the private debt marketplace.
Their second masterclass focusses on equity financing, looking at how and why equity investment can support business growth. Also, the event will address tips on how to pitch to investors.
