The Midlands Engine, working in partnership with The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), is looking to help Midlands’ companies visit Automechanika New Delhi with a view to exhibiting in future years. India’s automotive aftermarket is a fast-growing industry with customers that are highly receptive to British brands. India’s vehicle population will double over the next 5-7 years to more than 50 million cars. Currently valued at USD 38.5 billion, the Indian auto component market is expected to grow to USD 200 billion by 2026, while the aftermarket is expected to grow from USD 6.5 billion to USD 32 billion. This is your chance to explore the opportunities India has to offer.

Eligibility and Costs
The market visit is open to all Midlands exporters. If you are an SME you may be eligible for a travel grant of £550. A commitment fee of £250 + VAT for all delegates will cover some in-market event costs. Delegates need to meet their own flight and accommodation expenses.
