About Auto Expo – Components:
Auto Expo has grown over the past years transforming itself into a truly global event. With over 1 million visitors in 2016, this year the focus theme is “Automotive technologies that drive the world”. The Auto Expo – Components 2018 will have a special emphasis on technological innovations and focus on technologies driving product innovation, efficient manufacturing and logistics.
During the visit you can expect to:
- Gain an insight into the Indian Automotive market
- Understand market requirements for exporting to India including advice on the business culture and how to overcome challenges
- Engage with business contacts in the Automotive industry
- Take part in a pre-mission webinar
- Get support from an International Trade Adviser before, during and after the visit
Proposed programme (subject to change):
Sunday 4 February – Depart UK
Monday 5 February – Arrive in Pune
Tuesday 6 February – Site visit in Pune at Ricardo/Tata Motors followed by an evening reception in Pune
Wednesday 7 February – 1:1 meetings in Pune followed by travel to Delhi
Thursday 8 February – Auto Expo Components including 1:1 meetings and access to an exclusive reception
Friday 9 February – 1:1 meetings at Auto Expo Components
Optional additional days:
Saturday 10 February – Auto Expo Exhibition / own programme
Sunday 11 February – Auto Expo Exhibition / own programme
Cost and grants:
A commitment fee of £250 + VAT is applicable for each organisation. Any extra delegates from the same organisation wishing to participate will be charged an additional £150 + VAT per delegate. Financial support is available for those companies in the Midlands Engine area who meet the required eligibility criteria as detailed on the application form.
Accommodation:
Hotels will be recommended after booking.
Flights:
The programme of activity begins on Monday 5 February in Pune and will conclude on the 12 February in Delhi. We can recommend you use www.skyscanner.net to find suitable flights.
