Net Zero Worcestershire


The Net Zero Worcestershire Programme, in affiliation with Business Energy Advice Service, offers free Decarbonisation Reviews to eligible Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and organisations in Worcestershire.
The support, delivered by dedicated specialists, will show businesses how and where to effectively move forward on reducing carbon emissions and energy costs.

Worcestershire Decarbonisation Portal
Also available to businesses/organisations through this programme, is free access to the Decarbonisation Portal.
The web-based portal will allow collation and analysis of your organisation’s energy, transport, waste, and supply chain emissions, making climate action easy and engaging.
Any business based in Worcestershire is eligible to access the portal, however, there is limited availability, so if offered on a first come first served basis.
Net Zero Worcestershire Grant
Grant funding is also available to help SMEs in Worcestershire to implement energy saving initiatives including LED lighting, heating and insulation and renewables.
How much grant funding is available in my area?
Bromsgrove: £1,000 to £10,000
Malvern: £1,000 to £8,000
Redditch: £1,000 to £10,000
Worcester: £1,000 to £5,000 (revenue grants only)
Wychavon: £1,000 to £5,000
Wyre Forest: £1,000 to £10,000
Grants are awarded on a match-funded basis, meaning the SME will need to provide at least 60% of the total cost of the project.

This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, The Pilot Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) and Worcestershire County Council. Worcestershire County Council is delivering and managing this programme on behalf of Worcestershire District Councils.

The Pilot Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) offers free energy assessments and grant funding to implement energy efficiency measures to small and medium businesses in the West Midlands. The programme is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
