Innovative features and opportunity packed events thanks to new and improved FinditinWorcestershire website

The new and improved online business opportunities network is full of innovative changes that will bring its members opportunities in an instant.

Since it’s launch in 2011, FinditinWorcestershire has become a successful network of over 8,500 registered members across the county. With more than £200m worth of opportunities posted on the site to date, the website has gone from strength to strength.

On Tuesday 21 June, FinditinWorcestershire launched its rebranded, redeveloped service offering more business leads and opportunities across a diverse network of sectors.

Improved functionality

FinditinWorcestershire’s improved functionality and user-friendly interface has made it easier for members to post and manage opportunities. This can now be done through the dashboard users’ accounts, helping manage their existing supply chain and find new local companies to work with.

A strong focus has been placed on delivering more targeted leads and opportunities from both public and private sector projects. As well as receiving email alerts as a supplier, members will now also receive direct invitations to quote and tender from a wide range of organisations.
Quick Quote Pro

One of FinditinWorcestershire’s new features is QuickQuote Pro, a function designed by procurement specialists to manage low value purchases that don’t breach EU thresholds.

Quick Quote Pro allows procurement teams to post a tender or contract and select suppliers they want to invite to quote. These can be selected from a list or all companies registered in a particular sector can be chosen.

QuickQuote Pro has access to thousands of members across the region, creating opportunities to purchase competitively and deal with local businesses. With an auditable trail, members can see how far from the opportunity applicants are located and how many applicants have been contacted.

There is also the control to set a team up with multiple role levels and secure document exchange, ensuring that no matter what the value, purchasing protocols are met. It is a valuable tool that demonstrates a private or public sector organisation has involved the local supply chain in its procurement processes, for social value, corporate social responsibility and other KPI reports and value for money statements.
