We are delighted to announce that Enterprising Worcestershire can offer a further grant funding call for summer 2019.

Grants are available from £1000 up to a maximum of £2500 at a match funding rate of 50%. You could use this to invest in new equipment, have a website built, purchase consultancy services, or whatever will help you to develop your business in the early years. The scheme will enable SME’s to establish and grow whilst making a positive contribution to the Worcestershire economy and employment rates across the County by creating more sustainable SME’s.

The Enterprising Worcestershire team will be hosting drop-in clinics during the call to support businesses with any queries relating to their applications and to give support. Please ensure that you follow their Twitter page @WorcsOpen4Bis  for further information about dates and locations.

The Enterprising Worcestershire Programme is supported with funding from Worcestershire County Council, local District Councils and the European Regional Development Fund. As such all applications and grant expenditure must comply with EU eligibility criteria. Further information on eligibility can be found on the application and guidance notes.

How to Apply:

If you are a Worcestershire based business, and meet all the eligibility criteria below you may wish to apply for the Enterprising Worcestershire Grant Fund through the Summer 2019 Investment Call:

• Worcestershire based Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s)
• Trading for less than 36 months at the point of application
• Meet the De Minimis State Aid regulations
• Be trading at least 70% Business to Business
• Organisations must be able to provide evidence of the availability of match funding for the project (50% provided by SME)

Some items such as recurring revenue costs are not eligible for grant funding.

Step 1 – Applicants will need to complete and return the full application form which can be found here, together with associated documents including quotes and proof of match funding.  Please read the guidance notes carefully before submitting your application.

Step 2 – Full applications will be appraised based on the project, the organisations’ eligibility, and the extent to which they meet the aims of the scheme.
