ONE Creative environments (ONE) was awarded Architectural Practice of the Year at the prestigious 2021 Healthcare Estates IHEEM awards.
ONE, which is a multi-disciplinary design company with a Worcester HQ and offices in Birmingham and London, was shortlisted for three awards: Architectural Practice of the Year, Consultancy of the Year and Best New Build Project, and was delighted to win the architectural category.
The awards which took place last week, on Tuesday 19 October, at Manchester Central were part of the Healthcare Estates Conference and were also viewed online.
ONE is well established in the healthcare industry with vast experience across the breadth of the healthcare estate including: care homes/extra care, hospice care, acute hospitals, dementia care, primary care centres, car parks and other facilities as well as those supporting the medical sector such as key worker/student accommodation.
The award recognises the team’s work across a range of fantastic projects across the U.K., including those required during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as projects 8,000 miles away in the Falkland Islands with distance being no barrier.
ONE’s Managing Director collected the award and then spoke as part of the Conference’s programme the following day alongside Mark Jones, ADO Strategic Estates and Capital Planning at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
