i) Executive MBA
The University of Worcester has a well-established Executive MBA programme, designed for middle/ senior managers/ Chief Executives or those aspiring to such positions. The course is taught part time over three years on a one evening per week basis, and brings together managers from local organisations operating in the public, private and voluntary sectors; SMEs and larger corporates. Participants learn from each other as well as through a variety of tutor-led learning approaches, including Technology Enhanced Learning, Action Learning and Coaching. ii) Undergraduate or Postgraduate students
Many local organisations have benefitted from taking one of our University of Worcester Undergraduate or Postgraduate students on a one-year paid placement, or (up to 6 months) paid or unpaid internship for Postgraduate students only. We have recently had a large intake of students onto our suite of PG awards and are therefore looking for local employers who can offer 6 month internships (starting June 2017) in the areas of Management, Finance, Marketing, HR and International Business. iii) Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship
As a levy paying employer (from May 2017), maximize the return on your apprenticeship levy, through the University of Worcester Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship. Even if you do not pay the levy, you will pay only a 10% contribution to fees ! The course, delivered in collaboration with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), uses a work-based delivery model with day release (one day per week) for University-based studies. Applicants must be in employment, as all assessed work relates to the employer’s organisation and the apprentice’s role. If you are an employer, committed to developing fresh talent within your organ isation, or if you are looking to recruit leaders and managers of the future, this course may be of interest to you.

iv) Incrementum – business scale up programme
Starts: Spring 2017
The independent Scale-Up Report on UK Economic Growth 2014 identified a number of key barriers that businesses must conquer if they are going to achieve their growth ambitions. While high-growth SMEs generate 20% of all jobs growth in the UK, recent evidence from OECD shows that the UK has the lowest proportion of high-growth SMEs: the biggest problem for the UK is not in starting companies, but in growing them.

v) Momentum – business incubation and support
Starts: April 2017
If you’re launching a new start-up or growing your recently launched business, our momentum business incubation facility at our City Campus of the University of Worcester offers you business support, events, networking, hot desking office space and meeting rooms. We provide a support environment for early stage startups supporting the next generation of entrepreneurial talent based in Worcestershire.
This is a structured incubation programme to support you and to enable your business to evolve into a sustainable business, based in our local community.

vi) Principium – summer startup bootcamp
Starts: June 2017
The University of Worcester summer business start-up programme (as part of the EU-funded Enterprising Worcestershire: Start up and High Growth Start-up) is aimed at people within Worcestershire who want to start a business. Each person will be supported over a ten week period to start their business with a range of support tailored to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to take advantage of the opportunities. This programme is part funded by the European Commission’s, ERDF fund.

vii) Entrepreneurship Degree
This unique, practically-focused and applied degree offers the opportunity to combine a work-based approach to learning with the development of core enterprise skills to help you to realise your own business success. This degree has been developed by entrepreneurs to support your entrepreneurial journey, and to develop the entrepreneur within you alongside an in-depth understanding of how to start and run a business.
The BA (Hons) Entrepreneurship is completed in three years, with continuous access to a business mentor, and the facilities offered by the University of Worcester Business School incubator, including a 24/7 open working area, postal address and meeting rooms.
Through the course you will have the opportunity to create pop-up shops, design promotional campaigns, raise funds for your enterprise, participate in monthly business clinics, present business plans to a major bank and other funding agencies, and ultimately launch your business !
This approach ensures new knowledge and skills are developed via a 50% work-based experience focusing upon your own business ideas, and 50% taught input schedule tailored to you and your business needs. You will be taught by active and serial entrepreneurs, start-up specialists and venture capitalist and private equity professionals.
