Many local and national organisations have benefitted from employing a Worcester Business School undergraduate or postgraduate student.
Our students prove to be a real asset to the companies that support these activities. Our students wish to transfer academic theory into practical experience in a business environment, enhancing their employability and contributing to the company’s growth and development. Your company can benefit from input and support from our students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Course related placements & internships
Undergraduate students can take a placement year in industry to develop work skills related to their course and support you with their theory gained through their course. Students are studying business or computing degrees.
POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS take an optional internship as part of their course. The idea of this is for them to gain experience at a more strategic developmental level whilst adding value to your business, by completing short projects set by the company. Students are studying for either a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, HR, International Business Management or Marketing.
A further benefit to both the student and your company is that dissertations can be completed based around a business need.
Graduates, summer internships, part time opportunities
GRADUATES are looking for jobs locally and nationally. Most will already have relevant work experience. We have graduates in all areas of business and computing.
SUMMER INTERNSHIPS are open to all students and graduates. They do not form of the course and students engage in these internships to develop skills and gain further experience to help them gain graduate roles.

Research Project – University of Worcester
A University of Worcester M.Sc Business Psychology student is undertaking research, which aims to identify a workplace communications training programme for the successful integration of employees with a disclosed Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
Employers within Small to Medium sized Enterprises are invited to participate in this research which combines a semi-structured interview and an online Training Needs Analysis.
This data will then be incorporated into a no cost training day where participants will receive structured workplace communication training designed to facilitate successful integration of new and existing employees with a disclosed Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Those organisations interested should contact Nicole Hynek on hynn1_17@uni.worc.ac.uk
