The Worcester Enterprise annual start-up fair is the biggest event in the annual #Worcesterpreneur calendar. It brings together students and local micro enterprises to show case their ideas, products and services, network and share contacts.
Registered stallholders will each receive a table and display area to promote their goods and services, or you may simply be looking to get feedback on an idea you have – this is fine too, for you to have an opportunity to gain this sort of exposure and feedback!
Students, pre start-ups and new business owners registered at the event can also do a brief “elevator pitch” if they wish to an audience of local entrepreneurs, members of the business community and our own students. The audience will then vote and pick the winner. This is a great way to also test out an idea or proof of concept even if you don’t have any customers yet. Equally, you may not have taken the plunge and need some more feedback and guidance to assess if starting a business is right for you.
We are also planning to invite our programme sponsors, Worcestershire Business Central, Worcestershire County Council and the local Chamber of Commerce to the event who can provide information support and guidance should you need it with various aspects of your idea or business.
The atmosphere we are looking to create at the event is friendly and supportive and everyone is welcome.
As with all our events; FREE DRINKS AND PIZZA are provided; so you won’t be hungry or wondering what you might be missing!
Tickets for visitors and exhibitors are booked through Eventbrite on the following link.
