5 Top Tips for Resource Efficiency

=

Check your energy bills

– some energy companies will estimate your usage and base your bill on this amount, which means you may be paying more than you need to if your usage is actually lower than their estimate
=

Control your heating

– turning your heating thermostat down by even one degree can save you a surprising amount of money on your annual energy bill
=

Use light sensors

– this is a great way of ensuring you only light up rooms when you need them
=

Install motors on manual shutter doors

– this ensures doors open and shut quickly to minimise heat loss
=

Use shut off switches

– when applied to manual or motorised shutter doors, these switches ensure that when the doors are open hot air blower heaters are turned off, thereby reducing heat loss
