The University of Lincoln is staging a workshop in Hereford to explore how emerging developments in rural mobility and digital technology can be used to improve the lives of people and businesses in rural areas. The workshop is part of a research project being conducted on behalf of Midlands Connect.
Residents in rural areas face a number of mobility challenges, including access to services, employment, education as well as access to health and care services. The workshop will focus on the current mobility needs of rural communities and businesses, and provide the opportunity to discuss the potential role of innovative mobility solutions. We are keen to gather a wide variety of perspectives, and would really welcome attendance from a range of stakeholders involved in local community activities, education, healthcare and businesses operating in rural areas.
Please join us for this workshop which we hope will be a valuable opportunity for networking and future thinking about rural mobility.
