We work with many local businesses in the Farming and Agritech sector, which is vital to our local economy.  Coronavirus is impacting our local farming and agriculture businesses, but there are ways that we can help.

One of them is a new ‘Pick for Britain’ campaign that is being launched by Defra, which seeks to bring together those who are looking for work on UK farms over the harvest period with recruiters who have roles to fill.

Three leading UK labour providers – Concordia, HOPs and Fruitful – have already launched the ‘Feed the Nation’ campaign. This is to encourage job seekers, laid off from work due to COVID-19 or those furloughed, to apply for paid farming positions across the country.
