“Hello, my name is Phoebe Dawson and I am Director of Business Engagement for Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership. The reason I am here today is to introduce you to the new Worcestershire Growth Hub Newsletter. Worcestershire Growth Hub was previously known as Worcestershire Business Central and nothing has really changed. All that we have done is align ourselves to be closer to government branding.
“The Worcestershire Business Central Team have recently transitioned to the Local Enterprise Partnership, to support the LEP with achieving our vision for the county in 2040. There are no dramatic changes on the horizon, you can still expect to receive the same exceptional service from both the Growth Hub and LEP teams.
“In terms of this newsletter, as well as celebrating the fantastic achievements of our Worcestershire businesses, we want to make sure that the information you receive is relevant to you and to support your business to grow and develop.
“So, what can you expect from today’s newsletter. Well first of all, I’m delighted to tell you that we are now ready to accept businesses onto our Peer Networks programme. We ran this programme last year as part of a national scheme and the feedback has been exceptional. It’s a fantastic opportunity for businesses to work with other business and business leaders to really thrash out the problems that our effecting their businesses and learn from each other. So, if you’re interested in that there is a link on your screen now and we would really welcome a convocation with you to sign you up to that programme.
“As well as the Peer Networks programme, we are also delighted to be able to offer Specialist Advisors Support. So, this is an addition to the exceptional support that you get through our business account managers. We are now offering businesses the opportunity to have fully funded access to specialist advisors. The link on the screen tells you a little bit more about that.
“So, what’s coming up later in August as we move into autumn. Well, I’m really excited to tell you that Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership will be launching its plan for growth.
