Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) Sustainability Forum, 8-10am Fri 24th January 2020
Do you know what happens to your business waste? Your obligations around recycling and waste? What can and cannot be recycled?
With tightening legislation, increasing scrutiny and consumer awareness of the negative impacts of waste materials such as plastics entering the environment our next Sustainability Forum is focused on waste and will cover;
- an update on forthcoming waste legislation and how this will affect your business
- what happens to recyclables once they are collected from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Learn what can be recycled, see the sorting process in action and discover what a recyclable product can be reprocessed in to.
- discover local re-use opportunities
Our hosts Severn Waste Services provide integrated waste management across Herefordshire & Worcestershire including operating the Envirosort Materials Reclamation Facility where recyclable materials are recovered, separated and despatched to reprocessors for ultimate remanufacture into new goods.
The Sustainability Forum is a series of free events aimed at helping businesses draw upon good practice from industry experts and local businesses to help promote sustainable business practices, particularly focusing on resource efficiency. BEEP provides free advice and grants up to £20,000 for eligible businesses based in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire & Telford to implement resource efficiency projects. The Business Energy Efficiency Programme is receiving funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
Location: EnviroSort, Woodbury Lane, Norton, Worcester, WR5 2DF
