Worcester City Council has grants for businesses that are based within the city of Worcester.

If you are looking to start a business or have been trading for less than one year you maybe eligible for a grant of up to £1,000.

• The grant is available for expenditure which will help the new business and where the benefits will last more than 12 months e.g. building works; fixtures and fittings; equipment; website construction; logo design; initial marketing costs; software; initial stock and other similar one-off items.
•  The grant must be matched, pound for pound, by the business’s own resources.
• The business must create at least 30 hours/week employment for the applicant.
• The applicant must have received business start-up advice and submit a business plan.
