A Worcester-based recruitment firm founded by former professional rugby union player turned entrepreneur, Nick Baxter, has purchased its first ever commercial property to facilitate its future growth plans, after securing a six-figure commercial mortgage from HSBC UK.
Founded in 2017, Baxter Williams has developed a strong reputation regionally for its recruitment services and expertise across the property, construction, commercial and executive-level sectors. Purchasing the 3,000 sq.ft. property it had previously leased will provide the business with the stability to grow and expand into other areas of the country including Birmingham, where Nick grew up.

The business prides itself on developing a team of homegrown talent and, after creating four new jobs during the pandemic, will continue to recruit locally as it continues to expand.
Nick Baxter, Founder and CEO at Baxter Williams, said: “From day one, we have been committed to developing meaningful and long-lasting relationships with our clients. Our ethos, together with an amazing and vibrant team culture, has spearheaded our growth across a diverse spread of sectors in the recruitment industry.
“To help realise our growth potential, we needed to take the next step and thanks to the support from our Relationship Manager at HSBC UK, Pav Dheensa, we were able to purchase our first ever commercial property, a key milestone in our four-year history and a pivotal moment for our future development.”
Ian Coulson, HSBC UK Area Director for West Midlands Business Banking, said: “HSBC UK was pleased to support Baxter Williams as they continue to experience growth even in a challenging and uncertain marketplace. The new commercial property in Worcester is the first step for the business as it looks to develop its physical footprint across the country.”
