Launched on 7th September 2015 the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Hub was created due to the demand for an impartial service to support young people and businesses within the local community.
We have started 488 young people on Apprenticeships and nearly 600 employers. We have delivered over 10,000 IAG sessions within schools across the county and spoken to nearly 5000 people about Apprenticeships at our pop up shops including parents and grandparents!
Worcester City is the District with the most starts through the Apprenticeship Hub and the highest number of starts were in Engineering followed by Business Administration!
Kim Cook says ‘ We have been working towards a Hub model for the last 4 years in Worcestershire but we are really pleased with our official 1st year results but we could not do this without our partners including Worcestershire LEP who enable us to support local young people, parents, schools and businesses’

Worcestershire has seen 16,000 Apprenticeship starts over the last 4 years smashing all targets and this is down to our dedicated Training Providers and local businesses.
