ChainScope AI Ltd is a Worcestershire-based climate technology startup that helps organisations understand, predict and reduce carbon emissions across their operations and supply chains through an Artificial Intelligence-powered carbon intelligence platform.
Muhammad Hamza Tariq, the director of ChainScope AI, will represent the United Kingdom at the SEE Pakistan World Startup Championship 2026. He will be showcasing British innovation, research and entrepreneurship on an international stage.
Muhammad previously studied at the University of Worcester and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has rapidly gained recognition within the UK’s innovation ecosystem, recently winning the IdeaRise Startup Challenge in 2026, and has been accepted into the National Climate Tech Accelerator delivered by Sustainable Ventures and Barclays Eagle Labs.
He has transformed his academic research into practical innovation through the development of EchoChain – an AI-powered carbon intelligence platform designed to help organisations measure, predict and reduce carbon emissions while improving their operational efficiency. EchoChain addresses many issues raised by businesses that struggle with fragmented operational and sustainability data, meaning it is difficult to find carbon hotspots or monitor environmental performance. By integrating operational, environmental and supply chain data into a singular intelligent platform that uses AI, it enables organisations to make proactive and data-driven decisions.
The SEE World Championship brings together startups from diverse backgrounds and aims to identify the most innovative ventures from all walks of life and economic sectors.
ChainScope AI have been supported by the Worcestershire Growth Hub in developing and commercialising their business.
