Basic Employment Rights for a Worker
Workers are entitled to certain employment rights, for example:
Getting minimum wage
Receiving statutory minimum level of paid holiday
Protection against unlawful wages deduction
Protection against unlawful discrimination
Workers may also be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity or Paternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay. Even those who do casual or irregular work for you, may be entitled to certain employment rights.
