Open For Business programmes aim to grow the local economy by providing support to Worcestershire businesses who need advice, consultancy and funding to take their business to the next stage.
These programmes are delivered by Worcestershire County Council’s Growth and Investment Team through a network of trusted third-party providers, connecting you with the people who can help you most.

Offers support for businesses to investigate, advance, commercialise and protect early stage innovative ideas.
Elevate
Elevate is an exclusive and unique offer for successful applicants to gain high quality, specialist business support to help their business go much further.
Clean Growth Worcestershire Sustainability
Over the last few years Worcestershire County Council and its partners have supported businesses to reduce their own greenhouse gas emissions, develop low carbon technologies and innovations. These improvements have gone hand in hand with helping businesses to reduce costs and improve competitiveness
Low Carbon Opportunities Programme
Free consultancy and grants either for SMEs to install renewable energy systems, or for SMEs (including start-ups) undertaking development of new carbon products/diversifying into the low carbon market.
Enterprising Worcestershire
There are three elements to this programme; a core business start-up offer, support for early stage businesses and support for high growth start-ups. This support includes 1-2-1 sessions, workshops and grants.
Business Energy Efficiency Programme
Provides grants and free energy efficiency assessments to SMEs enabling them to improve energy efficiency and profitability, while reducing carbon emissions.
